High Holidays Giving 5785 | 2024

We are excited to celebrate High Holidays 5785 with you! This year we will be welcoming worshipers for in-person services as well as offering live-streaming on our website for all services at Temple Sinai. Whether you are bringing a guest to join our community, are honoring the memory of a loved one, or are inspired by our services, we hope you will consider making a gift to support the High Holidays at Temple Sinai.

Using the form below you will be able to:

Thank you for your generous support of the High Holidays at Temple Sinai. Please submit High Holidays donations, Yizkor (Memorial) Book names, and Bimah Flowers Dedications by Friday, September 20 to be included in the High Holidays service sheets and the Yizkor (Memorial) Book. Memorial Plaques and Simcha Tree Leaves can be requested now and will continue to be available throughout the year.

High Holidays Support Fund: This fund supports the added costs of maintaining and improving our High Holidays services for both in person and virtual participation. Whether you are a member looking to support the temple, would like to make a gift in appreciation of bringing a guest to the holidays, or are a non-member who is joining our community for the holidays, please consider making a gift to this fund.

Donations to the High Holidays Support Fund help ensure that we continue to provide our community and guests with a variety of spiritually fulfilling worship services both in person and virtually.

Would you like make a donation of $540 to dedicate High Holidays Bimah Flowers in honor of a simcha, in memory of a loved one, or for another special occasion?
Bimah Flowers Sponsorship: Each year our many High Holiday services are enhanced by the beautiful flowers on the bimah. On Sukkot we celebrate the holiday by building and decorating a sukkah and decorating the bimah areas with autumn harvest decor. As in past years, there is the opportunity to dedicate bimah flowers for holidays that are meaningful to you. All dedications for the High Holidays are acknowledged on the service sheets that we distribute as well as in Temple Sinai annual donor listings.

Would you like to submit the names of your loved ones to be memorialized in Temple Sinai's 5785 Yizkor (Memorial) Book?
Yizkor (Memorial) Book: We will be producing a Yizkor (Memorial) Book for the High Holidays, which will be made available to congregants during the Yizkor Service on the afternoon of Yom Kippur and via digital copy. This book includes the names of members and relatives of members who have passed away within the last year and provides an opportunity for all members to list and memorialize relatives who have passed in years past. If you would like to have your loved ones memorialized in the Yizkor Book, a donation in their memory is recommended.

Simcha Tree Leaves: Individual leaves on the Temple Sinai Simcha Tree may be ordered to celebrate your family’s joyous occasions by making a contribution of $360 that helps sustain temple operations. The Simcha Tree is located between the Sanctuary Foyer and the Bet Am.

Yizkor (Memorial) Plaques: A brass memorial plaque can be ordered commemorating your loved ones by making a contribution of $500 that helps sustain temple operations. Each year, on the anniversary of their deaths, the plaques are hung in the lobby on our Memorial Wall.
