The State Of the U.S.-Israel Relationship As a Result of the Hamas and Iran Conflicts

The U.S.-Israel relationship has been strained as never before as a result of the ongoing war with Hamas and the recent direct military exchange between Israel and Iran.  Differences have become wider and more public not only in tactical approaches but more importantly in strategic objectives and the goal for a long-term resolution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.  Please join us in a discussion of this evolving relationship with two experts with deep knowledge of both Israeli and U.S. policy perspectives – Ben Samuels, Washington correspondent of the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, and Jeremy Ben-Ami, founder and President of J Street, the liberal advocacy organization promoting a peaceful settlement of the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
